The year is 1879, but the world is not our own. Various factions in America are at odds, wielding mystical energies they cannot possibly understand or control. 

A being known only as Yhargoth has brought these energies back to the world, hoping to contaminate every living thing and feed on their fear.

A small group of adventurous heroes seek to undo Yhargoth's corruption with humanity's most powerful weapon - hope.

Hellbent is the culmination of over 10 years in Actual Play production. With an experienced team, a wonderful cast, and the belief that we can elevate Actual Plays to another level.

Goals

OUR GOAL IS SIMPLE - CREATE THE BEST ACTUAL PLAY EXPERIENCE WE POSSIBLY CAN.

Through a mix of monthly subscriptions and one-off donations we can produce...

AT $6,500:

  • An epic two-day experience shooting an ENTIRE season of Hellbent! Complete with full cast and crew pay! As a sustaining backer you might even get access to this shoot to watch it LIVE!

  • Creating 6-10 bite-sized episodes edited for YouTube and podcast, and taken from the original recording.

  • A follow-along story so you can easily catch up and bring new people in. Plus recaps posted before every show.

  • Everybody in the same room – no little Zoom windows! That means we can rent a studio!

  • A dynamic multi-camera shoot that's edited. No distractions, just straight on the action!

  • Individually mic’d performers to provide excellent audio for the podcast!

If we hit $6,500, the next stop is a season 2! Which means...

At $8,000:

  • We'll add a mysterious singing stranger (The Singing Cowpoke) to put our recaps to song before each episode! 

At $10,000:

  • We announce the first FACTION alliance. This will be a Hellbent-universe society which you can join and support through your monthly pledge!
  • Your pledges help us pay for fees, rehearsal space, and more.
  • Plus we can set the stage for Season 2.

At $12,000:

  • The second FACTION alliance is announced creating a new group to sponsor and grow!
  • Ongoing pledges will offset costs for editing the show and getting it out to you. YouTube, Twitch, and podcast-specific edits will all be made.

At $14,000:

  • The next and final FACTION alliance is announced! 
  • Your pledges continue to keep things operating like the website, podcast hosting, and more.

At $16,000:

  • SEASON 2 UNLOCKED! Once unlocked we will be able to cover pay for our cast/crew, studio and equipment rentals, and the rest of the basics for another fantastic season!

BEYOND?

The more we raise, the bigger the second season can be. From costumes to sets to art to special guests and more - the show can only get better from here! We're committed to making the best damn Actual Play show on the planet!
